Interior-Gateway-Protocol (deutsch: inneres Gateway Protokoll) – ist ein Routing-Protokoll, das innerhalb eines “autonomes Systems” angewendet wird. Als autonomes System ist ein Netzwerk zu verstehen, das von einer Organisation mit gleichen Metriken (oft LAN) verwaltet wird.
